Following on the release of their debut full length, Votive Life, Cave Painting are set to release lead track ‘Leaf’ as the first single from the album early in the New Year (the 28th to be exact). Ahead of the release a typically special remix courtesy of Duologue has appeared over on the band’s soundcloud page. A dark and drifting mix that ups the melancholic atmosphere of the original, while maintaining a spotlight on the fragile vocal lines. Already building somewhat of a reputation for a fantastic live presence, the band is planning ‘an extensive UK tour’ next year – so that’s good.
